Happy CRNA Week from your 2026 Board of Directors. 

We proudly join you in celebrating our profession during National CRNA Week. 

Since 2000, CRNA Week has honored the nation’s more than 75,000 CRNAs and RRNAs. This year’s theme, “CRNAs: The Heart of Anesthesia,” captures the essence of what CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists bring to patient care every day. We meet patients of all ages during their most vulnerable and often difficult moments, providing care with unmatched skill, compassion, and reassurance. 

Each year CRNA Week gives us the opportunity to engage with the healthcare community, our colleagues, legislators, and the public about who we are, what we do, and the value that we bring to patients. Visit the CRNA Week Toolkit for ideas to help you raise awareness about why CRNAs are the heart of anesthesia, including free resources like posters, graphics, advocacy tools, daily social media prompts, and more. 

Be sure to follow AANA’s social media accounts throughout the week and join the celebration using the #CRNAWeek hashtag. AANA members from across the country will take over our Instagram and Facebook accounts to share their stories and their pride in our profession.
