Are there any resources to help residents prepare for Annual Congress?

What is the prevalence of cognitive enhancer use among resident registered nurse anesthetists?

How can I submit a nomination for Educator Recognition Awards?

Volunteer as a mock interviewer at Annual Congress

RN-APRN mock interviews are coming to Annual Congress 2026, and we're looking for nurse anesthesia program administrators, educators, and faculty to volunteer.

During brief mock interview sessions, you'll provide prospective students with valuable feedback, encouragement, and insights as they prepare for nurse anesthesia program admissions. Each volunteer session is a one-hour commitment and follows a 5-minute speed interview format, allowing you to meet with multiple prospective students in a short, structured timeframe.

Mock interview schedule:

  • Saturday, Aug. 22: 4:15–5:15 p.m.

  • Sunday, Aug. 23: 8–9 a.m. and 3:30–4:30 p.m.

  • Monday, Aug. 24: 12:15–1:15 p.m.

Know a colleague who would be a great fit? Share this opportunity with them.

Are we seeing the full picture of resident well-being?

A new AANA Journal study examines the use of cognitive enhancers among nurse anesthesia residents and highlights important considerations for educators working to foster healthy, supportive learning environments. Learn what the research reveals and what it could mean for your program.

Together, we did this

The impact of an educator reaches far beyond a single classroom. Every resident you mentor helps shape the future of patient care.

As you continue investing in the next generation, we've got you.

Because members like you have stood together, we've advanced legislation, protected CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist practice, expanded clinical resources, and invested in the future of nurse anesthesia education. These aren't just AANA victories. They're victories for every educator, every resident, and every future anesthesia expert.
