Fellows of the AANA applications and leadership nominations are now open to members ready to advance nurse anesthesiology. 

  • Become a 2026 Fellow of the AANA (FAANA): earn the profession’s highest recognition for excellence in practice, education, research, and advocacy. Applications are due Feb. 2, 2026, at 12 pm (noon) CST. 
  • Run for AANA elected office: represent your peers and help guide nurse anesthesiology’s national direction. Nominations close Jan. 15, 2026.

Help your students get involved: AANA Journal audio app now hiring narrators

A new AANA Journal audio app is launching soon, making journal articles and other audio content more accessible on the go. 

 

The app team is seeking resident registered nurse anesthetists (RRNAs) to serve as narrators for AANA Journal articles. 

 

This contract opportunity allows students to gain professional experience and connect with the broader CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist community.

The AANA Education Committee is seeking a passionate CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist educator to help guide the next generation of leaders. 

 

✓ Who: CRNAs who spend at least 50% of their time in didactic or clinical instruction 

✓ Role: Two-year national term on the committee 

✓ Election: One delegate elected at EDGE in February
